PowerSecure is seeking an entry-level Switchgear Tech 1 for 2nd Shift (conversion temp to perm) in Durham, NC. The role focuses on assembly and fabrication of switchgear, wiring, and panel installation, from component level to finished product.
Responsibilities include reading electrical drawings, using hand tools, and aligning with onboarding training requirements. The position requires attention to measurements and quality workmanship in a manufacturing setting.

This position is the entry level position for individuals responsible for the assembly and fabrication of switchgear. This position includes building the structure, wiring the back pan and doors, and assembling the bus and installation of the breakers. The focus of this position is the assembly of switchgear from the component level to completed product. This position includes the assembly of low voltage, medium voltage and controls panels.
