Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Construction Sales Engineer – Switchgear to drive sales of low- and medium-voltage power distribution solutions in the Memphis and Northern Mississippi construction market.

You will cultivate relationships with electrical contractors and distributors, provide application guidance, and leverage Siemens products to grow market share while maintaining a robust sales pipeline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is strongly desired or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of successful sales experience.
• 3+ years of LV/MV power distribution product line experience.
• Ability to travel ~5% of the time.
• Valid driver's license in good standing; US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Sell LV/MV power distribution and power control solutions in Memphis or Northern Mississippi construction market.
• Develop and maintain relationships with electrical contractors and distributor partners.
• Provide guidance on applications/use of electrical distribution equipment in construction projects.
• Provide subject matter expertise of Siemens products to distributors and contractors.
• Fully utilize SieSales CRM to develop and forecast contractor opportunities.
• Build and maintain a business plan with a healthy sales pipeline.
• Develop and implement plans for strategic accounts to exceed revenue retention/growth and profitability.
• Build long-term relationships with senior management at key accounts.
