Job summary

Siemens in the Seattle area seeks a Construction Sales Engineer for Low/Medium Voltage Switchgear to drive growth through distributors and electrical contractors. You will build opportunities, forecast contractor activity using SieSales, and manage a robust sales pipeline across the Construction Channel.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of sales experience, preferably a BS in Electrical Engineering, and the ability to travel about 5%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (HS Diploma or GED equivalency acceptable with related work experience).
• 5+ years of sales experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 5%.
• Authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support distributors and electrical contractor opportunities with emphasis on projects via the Construction Channel.
• Provide market presence and channel support to achieve share growth.
• Fully utilize SieSales to develop and forecast contractor opportunities.
• Product support including Panelboards, Switchboards, Medium Voltage gear, Lighting Panels, Low Voltage Switchgear, Busway, MCCs, MCCBs, IEC/NEMA control, safety switches.
• Build and maintain a business plan by cultivating a healthy sales pipeline and managing existing customers.
• Develop and implement plans for strategic accounts to exceed revenue retention/growth and customer satisfaction.
• Build long-term relationships with senior management at key accounts, solution partners, and channel.
