Job summary

Siemens seeks a seasoned sales engineer to drive Low/Medium Voltage switchgear sales in the NJ/ NYC market. The role focuses on distributors and electrical contractors, with remote/hybrid flexibility in the greater NJ/ NYC area.

You will manage a robust pipeline, forecast contractor opportunities using SieSales, and support product lines including panelboards, switchboards, MV gear, and related components. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of sales experience (or 10+), travel readiness of ~5%, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
5+ years of sales experience OR 10+ years of sales experience.
Ability to travel 5% of the time.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred: BS in Electrical Engineering and experience selling LV/MV.

Responsibilities

Develop and support distributors and electrical contractor opportunities.
Provide market presence and channel support in the NJ/NYC market.
Fully utilize SieSales to develop and forecast contractor opportunities.
Provide product support for Panelboards, Switchboards, MV gear, and related items.
Build and maintain a business plan with a healthy sales pipeline.
Develop and implement plans for strategic accounts with revenue retention/growth.
