Job summary

Capital Electric, a member of the Sonepar family, seeks a Project Manager for switchgear to manage equipment supply for projects and maintain strong customer/vendor relations. You will ensure timely delivery, accurate invoicing, and effective communication with the sales team throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School or GED completed.
• 1-2 years customer service experience in electrical/lighting preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good and dependable mathematical skills.
• Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills.
• Reliable, responsible, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of supplying electrical distribution equipment for projects.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers, estimators, sales and vendors.
• Maintain accurate transaction records.
• Manage project budgets and ensure accurate invoicing.
• Identify, analyze and solve critical problems.
• Multi-task and prioritize daily tasks.
• Review submittals and coordinate equipment changes with customers.
• Provide operation and maintenance manuals for completed projects.
• Negotiate and track change orders with customers and vendors.
