Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar family, seeks a Project Manager for switchgear to oversee electrical distribution equipment for projects and maintain vendor/customer relationships.

Responsibilities include coordinating project development, ensuring timely invoicing, managing budgets, and generating change orders to maximize profitability. Strong communication and office skills required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required. 1–2 years customer service experience in electrical/lighting industry preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; professional demeanor.
• Basic math and proficiency with MS Office tools (Word/Excel).

Responsabilités

• Manage all aspects of supplying electrical distribution equipment for projects.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers, estimators, sales staff, and vendors; ensure accurate invoicing.
• Keep accurate records of all transactions.
• Manage project budgets and ensure timely invoicing to customers and from vendors.
• Identify, analyze, and solve critical problems.
• Review submittals and forward revised submittals to customers; prepare operation/maintenance manuals.
• Generate and track change orders to improve project profitability.
• Process returns and maintain a current project sales recap.
