Job summary

Four Winds Hospital in Saratoga Springs, NY seeks a part-time Switchboard Operator to work in a friendly, warm environment. This is an onsite role at our Saratoga Campus, with 16 hours per week, every other Saturday and Sunday, 3:30pm–12:00am.

Responsibilities include operating the telephone and radio systems, directing calls, greeting visitors, and performing clerical tasks while monitoring emergency alarms. Prior healthcare exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of three years related experience.
• Ability to lift 30lbs, bend, sit for extended periods of time.
• Previous experience either in a psychiatric or health care setting is preferred.
• Must possess organizational, coordination, communication skills and have a basic knowledge and understanding of human behavior.
• Experience working with computers is required
• Flexibility to cover shifts as needed, including some weekdays for scheduled vacations or unscheduled absences within the department.

Four Winds Hospital, a leading provider of psychiatric inpatient services that treats children adolescents and adults, seeks a Part-time Switchboard Operator to work in a friendly, warm environment in our Saratoga Springs location.

The job is in-person onsite at our Saratoga Campus in Saratoga Springs, NY.

Job highlights:

• Part time (16hrs/week – Every other Saturday/Sunday, 3:30pm – 12:00am )
