Job summary

Goshen Engineering seeks a hands-on Sub Assembly Supervisor to lead the Sub Assembly Technician I-III team in a fast-paced, on-site manufacturing setting in North Carolina. You will coordinate staffing, workflows, materials, and documentation to meet drawings, schedules, and downstream requirements.

You will supervise, coach, and develop staff, resolve production issues with cross-functional teams, and support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in manufacturing, subassembly, or related production environment.
• Able to read drawings, specs, and measurements and use measuring devices and tools.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Sub Assembly Technician I-III employees.
• Plan daily subassembly work, staffing, and priorities based on schedules and materials.
• Review drawings and instructions to ensure correct setup and documentation.
• Monitor progress for quality, fit, and schedule; escalate issues.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues.
• Ensure safe work practices and maintain records and training.
• Perform hands-on subassembly or supporting tasks as needed.
