Job summary

Goshen Engineering in North Carolina is seeking hands-on Electrical Assembly Technicians to build electrical equipment and integrated systems across racks, skids, and switchboards. You will work from production orders, blueprints, and BOMs to complete assembly safely, accurately, and efficiently.

The role offers progression from foundational work to independent, complex assembly with leadership opportunities based on demonstrated proficiency.

Qualifications

• Read and follow blueprints, BOMs, and work instructions.
• Safely and accurately use hand tools and power tools.
• Understand basic mechanical and electrical assembly concepts relevant to the role.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Review production orders, blueprints, BOMs, and work instructions.
• Assemble electrical equipment, racks, skids, and switchboard assemblies per drawings.
• Use measuring devices and fixtures safely and accurately.
• Install, align, and secure components per instructions.
• Inspect completed work for quality, labeling, and conformance.
• Identify missing or nonconforming materials and communicate issues.
• Complete quality checks and production records accurately.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Materials, and others to resolve issues.
• Perform approved rework to bring assemblies into conformance.
• Maintain organized work area and promote safe practices.
• Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.
