Job summary

Goshen Engineering seeks a hands-on Switchboard Assembly Supervisor to directly supervise an assigned Switchboard Assembly team within Production, ensuring safe, efficient, and quality-focused assembly of switchboards and integrated electrical systems.

Reporting to the Production Manager, this role leads Electrical Assembly Technician I-III and designated Leads, plans and prioritizes work, monitors production and quality, develops employees, and coordinates resources to meet production and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing, electrical assembly, industrial assembly, or related production environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and production documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting, communication, and ability to follow processes and documentation.
• Ability to lead and coach employees and coordinate priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Regular on-site presence and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and coordinate the work of Electrical Assembly Technician I-III and Leads.
• Plan and prioritize switchboard assembly work from orders and drawings to meet production and delivery expectations.
• Monitor workmanship, alignment, and conformity to drawings and instructions.
• Coordinate with Production Management, Engineering, Quality, Materials, and other functions to resolve production needs.
• Provide day-to-day direction, coaching, training, and performance feedback.
• Maintain production, quality, labor, and work records.
