Job summary
Atlantic Staffing Consultants in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a full-time Switch Truck Driver/Production Worker. The role runs 6 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Friday, offering weekly pay and temp-to-hire potential.
You will safely move trailers, perform safety checks, and assist on the production line while keeping areas clean and organized. Requirements include a valid driver's license, experience with yard trucks or semi-tractors, and strong English communication skills.
Qualifications
- Requires valid driver's license and ability to obtain CDL-A endorsement
- Experience driving yard trucks or semi-tractors is preferred
- Proficient English communication, both spoken and written
- Able to stand, lift 25+ lbs, and perform repetitive motions
- Overtime availability may be required as needed
Responsibilities
- Safely move trailers in and out of loading docks
- Perform daily safety checks on yard truck and trailers
- Hook and unhook trailer lines safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and safe work area in the yard
- Stack products onto pallets and assist with quality monitoring
- Learn to start/stop the production line as needed
- Operate forklift and skid steer when required (training provided)
- Perform other duties as assigned
