Job summary

Atlantic Staffing Consultants in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a full-time Switch Truck Driver/Production Worker. The role runs 6 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Friday, offering weekly pay and temp-to-hire potential.

You will safely move trailers, perform safety checks, and assist on the production line while keeping areas clean and organized. Requirements include a valid driver's license, experience with yard trucks or semi-tractors, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver's license and ability to obtain CDL-A endorsement
• Experience driving yard trucks or semi-tractors is preferred
• Proficient English communication, both spoken and written
• Able to stand, lift 25+ lbs, and perform repetitive motions
• Overtime availability may be required as needed

Responsibilities

• Safely move trailers in and out of loading docks
• Perform daily safety checks on yard truck and trailers
• Hook and unhook trailer lines safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in the yard
• Stack products onto pallets and assist with quality monitoring
• Learn to start/stop the production line as needed
• Operate forklift and skid steer when required (training provided)
• Perform other duties as assigned

Atlantic Staffing Consultants is looking for a full-time Switch Truck Driver/Production Worker in the Fayetteville, NC, area.

• Pay Range: $18.10/hour - $21.65/hour DOE
• 6 AM - 3 PM / Monday - Friday

Duties of the Switch Truck Driver/Production Worker:

• Safely move trailers in and out of loading docks.
• Complete daily safety checks on the yard truck and trailers.
• Hook and unhook trailer lines quickly and safely.
• Keep a clean and safe work area in the yard.
• Stack a variety of products onto standard pallets
• Help monitor product quality
• Learn to start and stop the line when needed
• Operate the forklift and skid steer when required (will train the right candidate)
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements of the Switch Truck Driver/Production Worker:

• Valid driver's license REQUIRED.
• CDL - A endorsement preferred.
• Safe driving record with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR).
• Experience driving a yard truck or semi-tractor.
• Ability to attend work as scheduled
• Proficient communication skills, oral and written in English
• Able to stand, lift, twist and bend
• Must be able to lift 25+ lbs.
• Availability to work overtime if needed
