Job summary

Job Juncture is seeking a CNC Machinist to operate Swiss-style turning centers and multi-task turning equipment for an aerospace- and medical-device-focused precision shop. The role emphasizes hands-on setup, CAM programming, and strict adherence to quality and safety standards.

You will work with a skilled team on a day shift, using Esprit, Fusion, Mastercam, and CAMWorks within an ERP environment to deliver tight-tolerance parts.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in machining or related field preferred but not required.
• Hands-on setup and programming experience on Swiss-style turning centers.
• Proficiency reading part prints, CAD files, and GD&T callouts.

Responsibilities

• Build and refine CNC programs using CAM software.
• Set up tooling, workholding, stock loading, and offset dialing.
• Diagnose issues: tooling wear, program glitches, setup problems, and maintenance needs.
• Perform routine maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly.
• Operate safely around cutting tools, coolant, and heavy stock.
• Identify process improvements to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Report status and output to supervisors.
