Job summary

The Lee Company in a climate-controlled, state-of-the-art facility seeks a skilled CNC Machinist to translate blueprints into precision machined parts. You will set up Swiss lathes, load fixtures, and monitor tolerances across multiple machines, ensuring parts meet exact specifications.

You’ll interpret prints, fixtures, and tool layouts, adjust stops and tooling as needed, document production work, and uphold strict safety and cleanliness standards in a modern shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or trade school education.
• Hands-on setup experience with Swiss lathes.
• Experience with computerized machine controls and precision measuring tools.
• Ability to read blueprints and use production paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Translate part drawings and specs into precision machining outcomes.
• Load and run multiple CNC machines; maintain tolerance.
• Change and mount tooling; position workpieces per instructions.
• Replenish stock materials and keep the workspace free of chips.
• Use the control console to orient the spindle and verify reference points.
• Identify issues and maintain a safe, clean work area.
