The Lee Company in a climate-controlled, state-of-the-art facility seeks a skilled CNC Machinist to translate blueprints into precision machined parts. You will set up Swiss lathes, load fixtures, and monitor tolerances across multiple machines, ensuring parts meet exact specifications.
You’ll interpret prints, fixtures, and tool layouts, adjust stops and tooling as needed, document production work, and uphold strict safety and cleanliness standards in a modern shop.

You'll interpret part prints and job layouts, choose the right tools, set up high-tech CNC equipment, and keep production humming across multiple machines while holding tight tolerances.
You’ll review specifications and blueprints, then set fixtures, machine stops, and indexing devices to prepare for operations such as drilling, milling, turning, grinding, and facing. You load and operate more than one machine at a time, using detailed instructions and standard coding to mount tools, position workpieces, and verify reference points from the control console. Throughout the shift, you monitor quality, adjust or reset stops to maintain tolerance, sharpen tools when needed, and restock materials and oils. You keep clamping devices and fixtures clear of chips for accurate positioning, report any malfunctions or tooling issues, and maintain a clean, orderly workspace while following all safety rules.
