Job summary

C&L Supreme is seeking a CNC Swiss Machine Operator to produce custom precision parts using a multi-axis Swiss CNC machine. You will maintain quality/safety standards, keep records, and manage equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities include operating multiple machines, inspecting parts with precision tools, and making offset/tooling adjustments. Strong math, communication, and problem-solving skills are required, along with reading blueprints and GD&T.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Swiss-style CNC machines or completion of company apprenticeship program.
• Ability to call up programs, offset tools and overall knowledge of basic CNC machine operation.
• Possess strong mathematical abilities, verbal/written communication and problem solving skills.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and GD&T.
• Ability to read precision gauges and visual accuracy.
• Ability to produce precision work.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple machines throughout the shift and produce parts within required tolerances.
• Inspect precision parts using various measuring and gauging tools and visual checks.
• Make offset adjustments, sharpen, change and adjust tooling, and maintain fluids.
• Operate and load bar feeder and measure bar stock.
• Check material to ensure correct material per blueprint and job specs.
• Maintain equipment through preventive maintenance and keep a clean, safe workstation.
• Communicate with setup person, foreman, and other shifts about quality and job status.
