Job summary

MOHR Talent is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for 2nd shift in Caledonia, MI, onsite. You will operate CNC Swiss-style and Mill/Turn lathes to produce precision parts and perform in-process inspections.

Schedule is Monday to Thursday, 2:30 PM to 12:30 AM with overtime available; benefits include 401(k) match, health/dental/vision, life insurance, PTO, and professional development.

Qualifications

• 2+ years CNC operation experience; Swiss-style preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and GD&T requirements.
• Familiarity with calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Strong math and measurement accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Swiss-style and Mill/Turn lathes to produce precision parts.
• Perform in-process inspections with calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and GD&T requirements.
• Monitor equipment and escalate issues to setup technicians or supervisors.
• Follow quality standards, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Provide clear shift handoffs to ensure smooth operations.

A well established and growing precision manufacturing company serving the aerospace, medical, agriculture, and defense industries is hiring CNC Machinists for multiple 2nd shift openings. What You’ll Do:

• Operate CNC Swiss-style and Mill/Turn lathes to produce precision parts

• Monitor equipment and elevate issues to setup technicians or supervisors
• Follow quality standards, production procedures, and safety protocols
• Keep a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Provide clear shift handoffs to keep operations smooth

What You Bring:

• 2+ years of CNC operation experience, with Swiss-style experience preferred
• Strong CNC machining background
• Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and quality requirements
• Familiarity with calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Strong GD&T and math skills
• Strong attention to detail and a dependable work ethic
• Aerospace or medical manufacturing background and lean experience are a plus
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks during a full shift
