Job summary

MOHR Talent is hiring a CNC Machinist for the 2nd shift in Walker, MI. The role is in-person, full-time, with a pay range of $24-$32 per hour plus a 10% shift premium. Schedule is Monday to Thursday, 2:30 PM to 12:30 AM.

The team works on Swiss-style and Mill/Turn machines, performing inspections and reading blueprints to ensure precision parts are produced to GD&T standards. We value experience in aerospace, medical, and defense manufacturing, and offer a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

• 2+ years CNC operation experience, with Swiss-style experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions and quality requirements.
• Familiarity with calipers, micrometers, and gauges is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Swiss-style and Mill/Turn lathes to produce precision parts.
• Perform in-process inspections with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and GD&T requirements.
• Monitor equipment and escalate issues to setup technicians or supervisors.
• Follow quality standards, production procedures, and safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Provide clear shift handoffs to keep operations smooth.

A well established and growing precision manufacturing company serving the aerospace, medical, agriculture, and defense industries is hiring CNC Machinists for multiple 2nd shift openings. Run Swiss-style and Mill/Turn machines with a team that cares about their people, with overtime available. The hiring process is simple: one onsite interview and you’re done. Schedule is Monday to Thursday, 2:30 PM to 12:30 AM.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate CNC Swiss-style and Mill/Turn lathes to produce precision parts
• Perform in-process inspections with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools

What You Bring:

• 2+ years of CNC operation experience, with Swiss-style experience preferred
• Strong CNC machining background
• Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and quality requirements
• Familiarity with calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Strong GD&T and math skills
• Strong attention to detail and a dependable work ethic
• Aerospace or medical manufacturing background and lean experience are a plus
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks during a full shift
