Job summary

Tecomet seeks a skilled CNC Machinist II to operate and set up CNC machines, producing precise parts within tight tolerances. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and adherence to GMP/GDP while maintaining accurate records and supporting continuous improvement.

The candidate will work in a manufacturing environment, perform routine maintenance, and apply 5S standards. A minimum of 3+ years CNC experience is expected, with an Associate degree or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Associates degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and Set-up CNC machines within tolerances.
• Perform difficult CNC Machinist work with close tolerances.
• Maintain quality by using appropriate measuring equipment and OOQ standards.
• Follow GMP/GDP and document completion of job routers/cards.
• Maintain 5S/housekeeping and safety practices.
• Record activities in job tracking system and assist Continuous Improvement.
