Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions partners with a CNC machine tool builder to recruit Swiss CNC Service Technicians for the New England region. The role involves traveling to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machine tools, controls, and related equipment.

Candidates should have 2+ years of hands-on CNC repair experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required from a technical school.
• 2+ years hands-on CNC repair experience.
• Proficient with dial indicators and micrometers.
• Experience with rotating machinery, spindles, bearings.
• Knowledge of CNC controls and basic electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting, high attention to detail.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and business software.
• Valid driver's license and willing to travel up to 100%.
• Road Warrior capable; professional under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites throughout New England to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machine tools, controls, and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and identify opportunities for performance improvement.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
• Utilize manuals, technical documentation, and internal/vendor support to troubleshoot complex problems.
• Clearly communicate equipment status, repairs, and recommendations to customers.
• Accurately complete and submit service and installation reports.
• Ensure customer commitments are met with a high standard of professionalism and technical excellence.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and customers.
• Stay informed on new technologies and product updates through ongoing training and technical seminars.
• Maintain deep technical knowledge of all equipment lines represented by the company.
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Advanced troubleshooting skills with high attention to detail and technical accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant business software.
• Valid driver’s license required and ability to be a ROAD WARRIOR with travel up to 100% throughout the assigned territory
• Comfortable interacting professionally under pressure with customers and colleagues.
