Gosiger is seeking an Applications Engineer specializing in Swiss CNC turning and Drill Tap Mill to support internal and external customers. You will design and develop machine programming processes, set up machines, train operators, and provide troubleshooting and on-site support to ensure optimal efficiency and equipment utilization.

You will travel to customer sites up to 35% of the time, participate in sales/service efforts, and contribute to ongoing training and documentation to maintain

Qualificações

• Two-year degree or equivalent in manufacturing/engineering related field.
• Experience with Swiss machine tool programming and Drill Tap Mill; setup and run-off.
• Strong business writing and documentation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork.
• Project management capability and planning skills.
• Proficiency with standard job-related software and PC literacy.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid USA passport.
• Travel up to 35% of time for customer installations and training.

Responsabilidades

• Builds internal/external customer and vendor relationships to ensure teamwork environment.
• Performs pre-sale technical sales support to sales team & customer.
• As a member of the machine set-up team; performs tooling & fixturing set-ups, programming, and run off ensuring optimum cycle time based on established criteria.
• Interprets part prints and designs/develops machine programming processes to create parts.
• Provides customer phone support for applications troubleshooting and tracks unresolved issues.
• Provides on-site and in-house customer training on machine operations and basic troubleshooting.
• Provides customer machine-specific application program training for set-up and program modifications.
• Travels to customer sites locally and out-of-state to support customers.
• Supports trade shows and company technical training seminars.
• Creates and maintains records and reports for machine and programming processes.
• Assists in project management with timely follow-up on tasks and projects.
• Attends sales, service, and customer meetings as requested.
• Maintains and develops technical, interpersonal, and communication skills through ongoing education.
