Job summary

Opti Staffing Group is assisting a leading steel fabricator in Tigard, Oregon, seeking a skilled MIG welder. You will fit and weld mild and galvanized steel according to detailed blueprints, ensuring quality and safety on the shop floor.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years MIG welding experience, can read industrial blueprints, and possess D1.1/1.5/1.8 certifications. This role offers four 10-hour shifts, comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for cross-training within the company.

Qualifications

• 2+ years MIG welding experience on thick materials.
• Able to read industrial blueprints.
• D1.1/1.5/1.8 certifications preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate parts to spec per blueprints.
• Fit components and ensure alignment and quality.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain welding equipment.

What You Need to Have

• 2+ years of experience MIG welding on thick materials
• Must be able to read industrial blueprints
• HUGE plus if you have fitting experience
• D 1.1/1.5/1.8 Certifications
• Familiar with 0.52 wire
