Job summary

American Custom Meats is seeking a Production Supervisor for the swing shift. The role oversees daily production, ensures product quality and food safety, and drives team performance to meet targets.

The position requires supervising multiple lines, coaching staff, and maintaining compliance with safety protocols. You will coordinate staffing and materials with production schedules, address issues in real time, and collaborate with QA, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a production environment.
• 2–5 years of experience in food manufacturing.
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive performance.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make real-time decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee multiple production lines, ensuring efficient and timely processing of raw materials into finished goods.
• Supervise, coach, and hold team members accountable to production, quality, and safety standards.
• Monitor employee attendance, performance, and compliance with meal and rest break policies.
• Ensure staffing, materials, and equipment are aligned with production schedules.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, quality, and company procedures.
• Identify and address production issues in real time to minimize downtime.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including QA, Maintenance, and Warehouse.
