Job summary

American Custom Meats, a leading national meat supplier, is hiring a Production Supervisor for the swing shift at our Tracy, CA facility. You will oversee daily production operations, ensure product quality and food safety, and drive team performance to meet targets.

Candidates need 1–3 years of supervisory experience in production, 2–5 years in food manufacturing, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and a High School Diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a production environment
• 2–5 years of experience in food manufacturing preferred
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive performance
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make real-time decisions

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee multiple production lines, ensuring efficient and timely processing of raw materials into finished goods
• Supervise, coach, and hold team members accountable to production, quality, and safety standards
• Monitor employee attendance, performance, and compliance with meal and rest break policies
• Ensure staffing, materials, and equipment are aligned with production schedules
• Maintain compliance with food safety, quality, and company procedures
• Identify and address production issues in real time to minimize downtime
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including QA, Maintenance, and Warehouse
