Qualifications

• 2 years of patient registration and insurance verification experience in a health care setting required.
• Emergency Department registration experience preferred.
• Knowledge of various insurance plans (HMO, PPO, POS, Medicare, Medicaid) required.
• Fluency in English is required; Spanish is required in El Paso Market.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with EMTALA, DNV, HIPAA and other regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service to meet patient needs.
• Verify insurance benefits for all patients and enter demographic information.
