Job summary

Vision Plastics, Inc. is seeking a dependable Mold Setter to help keep our injection molding production running safely and efficiently. You will set up molds, prepare machines, and monitor parameters and equipment throughout shifts.

In this hands-on role, you’ll perform preventative maintenance, document process parameters, and participate in a structured six-month training program designed to advance your career within our skilled trades team.

Responsibilities

• Set-up tooling in machines and ensure ergonomic, safe, and organized workstations.
• Enter molding parameters and adjust barrel temperatures as needed.
• Check material and dryer temperatures and ensure contamination-free loading equipment.
• Provide and manage auxiliary equipment such as drill presses and milling fixtures.
• Attach end-of-arm tooling and adjust robots to remove parts from presses.
• Assist with staging tools for production and return tools after use.
