Job summary

Vision Plastics, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator to run an injection molding machine, ensure cycle times and quality standards, and report any malfunctions. The role involves inspecting parts, documenting rejections, and processing parts per POI with attention to detail.

You will maintain counts, labels, and a clean work area while collaborating with the team. Training starts with one-week hands-on instruction and continues with ongoing coaching.

Qualifications

• Must read and follow POI and verbal instructions.
• Basic math: add, subtract, multiply, divide.
• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Able to manually cycle machine by opening/closing gate.
• Lift, reach, and pull up to 25 lbs frequently.
• Stand for long hours (8+ hours).
• Work in non-climate-controlled environments, up to 100°F occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Operate injection molding machine to meet cycle times and quality specs.
• Monitor machine and report malfunctions to supervisor.
• Inspect parts, identify rejects, and record outcomes in RT system.
• Process parts per POI, including trimming, packing, labeling as needed.
• Maintain accurate counts and complete work orders and labels.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and communicate with team.
