Job summary

Hazel Dell Assisted Living is seeking a licensed Medication Aide to administer medications to residents under physician orders and supervision. You will ensure accurate documentation, follow labeling and safety procedures, and communicate effectively with the nursing team.

This role requires completing state-approved training, maintaining patient privacy, and participating in quality assurance activities to enhance medication safety. The position is full-time and on-site in Vancouver, WA.

Qualifications

• Must possess, at a minimum, a high school education or its equivalent.
• Must be a licensed Medication Aide having completed state-approved training and any required examination.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general instructions, procedures, and regulations.
• Ability to document accurately and maintain medication records.

Responsibilities

• Administer oral and topical medications as ordered by the physician or Medical Director.
• Document medication administration and report any errors or adverse reactions.
• Maintain proper labeling and safety procedures for all medications.
• Complete necessary forms, charts, and reports and submit them as required.
• Participate in quality assurance and medication safety programs.
