Job summary

PACS Group, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Medication Aide to join Hazel Dell Assisted Living in Washington. You will assist in administering medications to residents as ordered by physicians and under nursing supervision.

You will follow facility procedures, maintain accurate medication documentation, participate in quality assurance efforts, and support a collaborative nursing team to ensure safe and effective resident care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school education or its equivalent.
• Licensed Medication Aide with state-approved training and examination.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general procedures and regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to present information to managers and employees.
• Mathematical ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
• Problem-solving and reasoning in practical situations.
• Ability to interpret varied instructions in written, oral, or schedule form.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administering medications to residents as ordered by the physician and under nursing supervision.
• Follow facility policies and document medication administration accurately.
• Note and report errors in medication administration promptly.
• Participate in quality assurance and medication safety programs.
• Maintain effective communication with nursing staff, physicians, and pharmacists.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and charting of medications and resident vitals.
