Job summary

Cascadia Senior Living is seeking a Medication Aide to administer and assist with non-injectable medications for residents in Oregon. You will follow physician orders and nursing practices under the direction of the Director of Nursing Services, ensuring safety and timely medication delivery.

You will document care, monitor residents, and communicate changes while promoting resident dignity, independence, and choice in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Current First Aid and CPR Card (if applicable).
• Criminal background and fingerprint check required.

Responsibilities

• Administers and assists with routine and non-injectable medications as ordered.
• Maintains accurate medication records and documents omissions or PRN meds.
• Monitors residents, records vital signs and communicates changes to nursing staff.
• Provides direct resident care, promoting dignity and independence.
• Collaborates with physicians, pharmacies, residents and families to ensure timely medication delivery.
