Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an Incoming Quality Control Lead for swing shift to oversee daily IQC operations, coordinate inspections, and ensure timely material releases. You will guide inspectors on drawings and sampling, reinforce EHS requirements, and collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and other partners to maintain audit-ready processes.

This role requires 3+ years in quality, inspection, or regulated manufacturing, with experience in SAP, EtQ, and reading engineering

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
• At least 3 years of relevant quality, inspection, or regulated manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of incoming inspection, nonconformance, documentation, and product release processes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, inspection plans, and supplier documentation.
• Experience with SAP, EtQ, Agile, Windchill, or Microsoft Office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary operational point of contact for swing shift IQC activities and communicate priorities, status, risks, and resource needs.
• Coordinate daily inspection assignments, adjust priorities, monitor progress, and support coverage based on material and production needs.
• Provide day-to-day technical guidance and coaching to inspectors on drawings, specifications, inspection plans, sampling requirements, supplier documentation, metrology methods, and IQC procedures.
• Reinforce Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements, including PPE and safe equipment use, and escalate hazards or incidents.
• Support timely material release by confirming inspection completion, required approvals, revision alignment, and electronic record readiness.
