Job summary

Trustwell Living, LLC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents with daily living activities, maintain care plans, and report changes under supervision. You will help provide a safe, home-like environment that promotes independence and dignity.

Requirements include completion of a CNA program with license; CPR/First Aid certification preferred; 18–24 months experience in a similar role; and flexibility for a full-time schedule. Full-time benefits available.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to resident dignity, privacy, independence, and home-like environment.
• Receives and gives report from the previous shift.
• Reviews assignments with the Designated Supervisor.
• Reads Resident records and maintains familiarity with service plans.
• Assists with ADLs and mobility assistance.
• Carefully follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains clean, safe environment for residents and staff.
• Observes changes in resident status and communicates with team.
• Records resident information as required.
• Notifies nurse of status changes as appropriate.

Position Responsibilities

• Adheres to and conveys philosophy of supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for Resident.
• Receives and gives report from the previous shift.
• Reviews assignments with Designated Supervisor.
• Reads the staff communication records and maintains familiarity with Resident records as required.
• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, ADL’s, environmental orientation, assistance with other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Provides services as indicated on Resident service plans, including but not limited to bathing assistance, toileting assistance, transfer, and mobility assistance.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains clean, neat, comfortable, safe environment for Residents, staff, and visitors.
• Observes changes in Resident status, needs, or preferences and communicates them appropriately.
• Adheres to all established policies and procedures.
• Records Resident information as required.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and adheres to procedures for fire, life safety, disaster, security, work, safety, and other emergency situations.
• Notifies nurse, and/or designated agent(s) of Resident status/change as appropriate.

Training And Experience

Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program with current license. 18 – 24 months experience in a similar position, CPR/First Aid certified preferred.

Education

Attendance at mandatory in-service training. Maintain CPR/First Aid Certification. Meet in-service training hours required for job classification and position.
