Job summary

Trustwell Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our residential care team in Washington. You will provide direct resident care, assist with ADLs, and help maintain a home-like, dignified environment for residents.

Completion of a CNA program with a current license is required, along with 18-24 months of similar experience and CPR/First Aid certification preferred. Mandatory in-service training is expected to ensure high-quality, person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program with current license.
• 18-24 months experience in a similar position, CPR/First Aid certified preferred.
• Attendance at mandatory in-service training.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to and conveys philosophy of supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for Resident.
• Receives and gives report from the previous shift.
• Reviews assignments with Designated Supervisor.
• Reads the staff communication records and maintains familiarity with Resident records as required.
• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, assistance with other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Provides services as indicated on Resident service plans, including bathing, toileting, transfer and mobility assistance.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains clean, neat, comfortable, safe environment for Residents, staff, and visitors.
• Observes changes in Resident status, needs, or preferences and communicates them appropriately.
• Notifies nurse, and/or designated agent(s) of Resident status/change as appropriate.

Education

Training And Experience

Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program with current license. 18-24 months experience in a similar position, CPR/First Aid certified preferred.

Education

Attendance at mandatory in-service training. Maintain CPR/First Aid Certification. Meet in-service training hours required for job classification and position.
