Job summary

Lakeshore Recycling Systems is hiring a Roll-Off Driver to service customer accounts during the day, hauling waste or recycling to disposal sites or recycling plants as directed by dispatch.

The role requires operating a Class B CDL, completing pre- and post-trip inspections, and adhering to safety rules and DOT regulations. You will communicate with the Route Manager and maintain logs while keeping the vehicle clean.

Qualifications

• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid Class B CDL.
• Must have a valid DOT medical card or obtain prior to hire.
• No DUI/OVI in past 5 years or 2 in past 10 years.
• No license suspensions in past 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide, replace and remove roll-off containers and compactors for customers.
• Attend and participate in scheduled training programs and meetings.
• Operates vehicle safely per safety rules, OSHA and DOT requirements.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and document checks.
• Communicate customer requests to Dispatch or Route Manager.
• Maintain and update driver logs throughout the day.
• Keep the vehicle clean and free of trash/debris.
