Job summary

Seaboard Foods is seeking a Farm Operations Manager to oversee multiple swine production sites. You will manage day-to-day operations and drive production targets while developing farm managers and ensuring SOP compliance across facilities.

You will coordinate with operations leaders, interpret data for decision making, and resolve work-related issues to keep processes efficient and compliant. Local travel may be required to supervise sow farms and staff scheduling.

Qualifications

• Three years of related swine production experience.
• At least one year overseeing daily swine operations and directing farm personnel.
• Experience following detailed standard operating procedures.
• Experience managing four or more animal caretakers for sow farms.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the farms and ensure production targets are met.
• Supervise and develop farm managers for responsible sites.
• Serve as a link between operations managers and farm managers by handling questions, interpreting data and helping resolve problems.
• Audit farms weekly to ensure SOPs are followed and facilities maintained.
• Advise farm managers on meeting production and cost targets and submitting reports on time.
• Create and manage employee work schedules and maintain personnel records.
