Seaboard Foods is seeking a Farm Supervisor to oversee a sow farm, manage daily operations, and supervise farm personnel. The role focuses on maintaining production targets, breeding efficiency, and animal quality across gestation through farrowing.

The position requires experience in swine production, hands-on management of caretakers, and proficiency in following detailed SOPs and vaccination/AI procedures. Strong English communication is essential for daily coordination and reporting.

Qualifications

• Two years of swine production experience.
• At least one year of management duties on a swine farm.
• Experience managing four or more animal caretakers for sow farms.
• Experience in gestation through farrowing and vaccination/AI in swine.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a Sow Farm and related personnel to meet production targets.
• Manage breeding practices to increase production efficiency and animal quality.
• Ensure care and conditioning of sows on the farm.
• Direct breeding and raising of swine using standard practices.
• Supervise swine examinations for disease identification.
• Ensure SOPs are followed and facilities are well maintained.
• Meet daily and weekly production targets.
• Collect and record production data and submit reports.
• Submit orders for farm supplies and maintenance needs.
• Create and manage employee work schedules and approve timecards.
