Job summary

Merck is seeking a Territory Manager to drive sales of Animal Health products across a designated U.S. territory. You will engage with veterinarians and practice decision makers, develop strategic account plans, and collaborate with distribution partners to grow market share.

The role demands strong communication, a proactive approach to customer needs, and the ability to travel extensively (75%) while relocating to the assigned territory. Relocation assistance is provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with 12 years of Animal Health sales experience OR
• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of Animal Health sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicates product value to customers based on their needs.
• Primary contact for assigned customers; meets with key decision makers to uncover opportunities.
• Develop customer and territory plans with cross-functional teams to drive sales growth.
• Collaborate with other teams to enhance product knowledge and portfolio understanding.
• Analyze monthly sales results and manage expenses within budget guidelines.
