Job summary

SafeSplash Swim School in Denver – Park Hill is seeking an enthusiastic Swim Instructor to teach aquatic skills using our positive curriculum and to engage families with constructive feedback. You will structure classes to reinforce techniques while keeping safety as a priority.

We offer flexible scheduling, opportunities for advancement, and benefits including free uniforms and training. Prior instruction is preferred, with training available if needed.

Qualifications

• Previous swim instruction is preferred but we are happy to train you.
• WSI certification preferred.
• Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid preferred; we will help you get certified within 60 days of hire.
• Special consideration for instructors with experience teaching 6 months to 10 years and Special Needs.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming skills in a fun, positive manner according to Streamline Brands curriculum.
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts.
• Structure class time to include repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills.
• Ensure swimmer safety.

What will you do as a Swim Instructor?

• The main focus of a swim instructor is to teach swimming skills in accordance with Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, positive manner
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts
• Structure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills
• Ensure swimmer safety

What are we looking for in a Swim Instructor?

• Previous swim instruction is preferred but we are happy to train you
• WSI certification preferred
