Job summary

SafeSplash + SwimLabs Waukee is seeking a capable manager to oversee daily operations, coach staff, and deliver high‑quality swim instruction. You’ll lead front desk activities, coordinate class schedules, and uphold the SafeSplash philosophy across lessons for all ages.

Ideal candidates will have prior management experience in customer service, strong communication, and a learner mindset for scheduling software.

Qualifications

• Must have management experience in customer service and strong communication skills.
• Ability to learn computer scheduling software.
• Keen eye for details; capable of managing multiple schedules and tasks.
• Team-driven leader who develops staff while delivering excellent guest relations.
• Hospitable, caring, and customer-focused.
• Schedule includes recurring weekly shifts, nights and weekends.
• Willing to obtain required certifications: Lifeguard/CPR-FIRST AID, Lifeguard Instructor.

Responsibilities

• Assist with staff scheduling, training and mentoring.
• Help drive enrollment through marketing and customer service initiatives.
• Manage and direct front desk activities; keep classes organized.
• Instruct group lessons and private lessons; follow SafeSplash curriculum and values.
• Build relationships with clients; provide feedback during Splash-N-Tell.
• Maintain quality and safety; resolve issues and identify improvement needs.
