Job summary

Park Ridge Park District is seeking Swim Instructors at Centennial Fitness Center in Park Ridge, IL. Instructors teach children of all ages, provide basic customer service, and complete student report cards in a lively, family-friendly setting.

The role offers a flexible schedule with weekday evenings, weekend hours, and some summer mornings. Training is provided, and instructors work with Lifeguards and staff to ensure safe lessons.

Job Location: Centennial Fitness Center - Park Ridge, IL 60068

Salary Range: $15.50 - $15.50 Hourly

Our Swim Instructors enjoy:

• Premium wage of $50 per hour when teaching Private Lessons outside of our advertised schedule! We call these “Flex Private Lessons”.
• Evening and weekend hours

Salary

• $50/hr for Flex Private Lessons
• $32/hr for Private Lessons
• $15.50/hr for Group Lessons

• Paid Starfish Swim Lesson Instructor training & certification will be provided upon hiring

Availability

• Flexible schedule available
• Weekday evening hours from 4pm-7pm
• Morning hours (summer only) 9am-11am
• Weekend hours from 9am-12pm
• Time off for all major holidays
