Position Summary

As the Aquatics Supervisor, you will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You will help members improve their swimming in our state-of-the-art recreational and lap pools, both indoors and outdoors. This position involves managing and training all Aquatics Department Team Members, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining the cleanliness and order of our Aquatics Facilities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure Aquatics Team Members provide a safe and friendly environment for all members
• Respond to member inquiries regarding programs, products, services, policies, and procedures professionally and promptly
• Promote and ensure the highest level of programming, including the Life Time swim program

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• At least 6 months of customer service experience
• At least 1 year of coaching and/or swim instructor experience
• At least 1 year of lifeguarding experience
• At least 6 months of head guard or supervisory experience
• Lifeguard and First Aid certifications
• Ability to successfully complete all required Life Time courses upon hire
• Ability to work stationary and move about the club for extended periods
• Effective communication skills to interact with guests regarding products and services
• Ability to swim 25 yards/meters continuously
• Ability to routinely bend and lift more than 20 lbs

Preferred Requirements

• Some college coursework or pursuing a 4-year degree
