Job summary

In-Shape Health Club is seeking a Swim Programming Coordinator to develop, organize, and direct scheduled swim lesson programming. You will monitor quality, profitability, and budgeting while ensuring safety and member satisfaction.

The role includes planning lessons, backfilling as needed, and coordinating with instructors. Strong planning, communication, and leadership skills are essential; lifeguard and CPR credentials may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Lifeguard certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Knowledge of swimming and swim lesson programming is required.
• Experience supervising swim lesson programming is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain standards for swim programming and hold instructors accountable.
• Retain swim lesson participants by listening to member needs.
• Plan, schedule, and backfill swim lessons as needed.
• May lifeguard or teach private/group lessons.
• Build relationships with current and future swim participants.
