Job summary

In-Shape Fitness is seeking an Activities & Swim Lessons Coordinator in Tracy, CA to develop and direct all club activity programmes such as Tennis, Swim, and Pickleball. You will monitor quality, drive profitability, and ensure programmes stay within budget.

The role includes lifeguard duties, marketing event execution and strong member engagement to improve retention. You will coordinate swim lessons at multiple clubs, supervise summer programs for kids, and build vendor partnerships while

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Knowledge of swimming and swim lesson programming is essential.
• Current lifeguard certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire date.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire date.
• Experience in event planning, marketing or sales in fitness environments.
• Willingness to travel to other clubs as needed.
• Trustline registration will be facilitated by In-Shape upon offer/18th birthday.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, organize and direct club activities programmes (Tennis, Swim, Pickleball).
• Retain members by listening to their needs and acting on feedback.
• Schedule and execute all club activities; backfill as instructor when needed.
• Coordinate swim lessons at home and other clubs; supervise safety.
• Organize marketing events and manage social media promotion for events.
• Maintain club activities content on the club webpage and inventory.
• Provide administrative support for club activities and vendors.
• Ensure safety of children during summer programs; liaise with the community.
• Collaborate with internal/external partners; support budget targets and KPIs.
• Review daily KPIs to identify trends and opportunities for efficiency.
