Job summary

A leading swim instruction franchise is seeking a passionate Swim Instructor in California, MO. You will teach swimming skills in a positive environment, providing feedback and structure to class time. Ideal candidates have previous swim instruction experience and certifications like WSI and CPR-PR/AED. The role involves instructing children aged 6 months to 10 years and special needs. Competitive pay ranges from $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, along with other benefits including free swim lessons for employees' children.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in swim instruction but training is provided.
• Certification in CPR-PR/AED for adults, swimmers, and infants preferred but can be obtained within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming skills according to curriculum in a fun manner.

What will you do as a Swim Instructor?

• The main focus of a swim instructor is to teach swimming skills in accordance with Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, positive manner
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts
• Structure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills

What are we looking for in a Swim Instructor?

• Previous swim instruction is preferred but we are happy to train you
• WSI certification preferred
• Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infant preferred but we will help you get certified in 60 days of hire
• Special consideration given to instructors with experience teaching swimmers age 6 months to 10 years and Special Needs.
