Job summary

SafeSplash Swim University, LLC is seeking a Swim Instructor to teach swimming skills per our curriculum in a fun, supportive environment. You will give positive feedback and structure classes to reinforce core techniques while emphasizing safety in every session.

Preferred candidates have prior swim instruction experience, WSI, and CPR/First Aid certifications; we offer training and help with certifications within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Previous swim instruction is preferred but training is provided.
• WSI certification preferred.
• Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infant preferred; certification help available within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming skills per Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, positive manner.
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers.
• Structure class time to include repetition, reinforcement, and skill introduction.
• Ensure swimmer safety at all times.

• The main focus of a swim instructor is to teach swimming skills in accordance with Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, positive manner
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts
• Structure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills
• Ensure swimmer safety

++What are we looking for in a Swim Instructor?++

• Previous swim instruction is preferred but we are happy to train you
• WSI certification preferred
• Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infant preferred but we will help you get certified in 60 days of hire
• Special consideration given to instructors with experience teaching swimmers age 6 months to 10 years and Special Needs.
