Job summary

SafeSplash Swim School in Cedar Park, Texas is thrilled to invite passionate individuals to apply for the Swim Instructor position. As a Swim Instructor, you will teach swimming skills in a positive environment and ensure the safety of all swimmers.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in swim instruction, although we are willing to train motivated individuals. WSI certification and CPR/First Aid qualifications are preferred, with flexibility in training offered through the company.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in swim instruction preferred.
• Ability to teach swimmers aged 6 months to 10 years is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming skills in a fun manner.
• Provide positive corrective feedback to swimmers.
• Ensure safety of all swimmers in class.

What will you do as a Swim Instructor?

• The main focus of a swim instructor is to teach swimming skills in accordance with Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, positive manner
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts
• Structure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills
• Ensure swimmer safety

What are we looking for in a Swim Instructor?

• Previous swim instruction is preferred but we are happy to train you
• WSI certification preferred
• Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infant preferred but we will help you get certified in 60 days of hire
• Special consideration given to instructors with experience teaching swimmers age 6 months to 10 years and Special Needs.
