Qualifications

• Current certification in First Aid, CPR and AED.
• 6 months of experience teaching swim lessons.
• Knowledge of and ability to demonstrate swim lesson techniques.
• Ability to work independently with energy and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and evaluate students in swim lessons.
• Submit report cards, skill sheets and attendance on time.
• Ensure the safety of class participants.
• Communicate with lifeguard and colleagues during emergencies.
• Maintain a flexible schedule for group and private lessons.
• Collaborate with other instructors for co-taught classes.
• Interact with parents and students about skills and progress.
• Attend mandatory meetings and trainings.
