Job summary

SafeSplash + SwimLabs Morrisville (Triangle) is seeking a friendly Swim Instructor to teach swimming skills to children in a fun, encouraging setting at our Morrisville location.

You will follow the Streamline Brands curriculum, provide positive feedback, structure class time efficiently, and ensure swimmer safety. Prior instruction is preferred; training and certification support are available within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Prior swim instruction experience preferred, with training available.
• WSI certification preferred.
• Current ARC CPR-PR/AED and First Aid preferred; certification assistance provided within 60 days of hire.
• Special consideration for teaching swimmers aged 6 months to 10 years and for those with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming skills following Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, positive manner.
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts.
• Structure class time to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills.
• Ensure swimmer safety.

• The main focus of a swim instructor is to teach swimming skills in accordance with Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, positive manner
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts
• Structure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills
• Ensure swimmer safety

What are we looking for in a Swim Instructor?

• Previous swim instruction is preferred but we are happy to train you
• WSI certification preferred
• Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infant preferred but we will help you get certified in 60 days of hire
• Special consideration given to instructors with experience teaching swimmers age 6 months to 10 years and Special Needs
