We are hiring Swim Instructors and Lifeguards for immediate start, with shifts available 7 days a week, including mornings and special events. Paid training is included.

Job Details:

Title: Swim Instructor/Lifeguard

Reports to: Deck Supervisor

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Summary: Instruct students on water safety and swimming techniques based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide swim instruction per curriculum guidelines.
2. Enforce safety rules, prevent accidents, and perform rescues and first aid when necessary.
3. Evaluate student progress and complete required documentation.
4. Communicate with parents/guardians about student development.
5. Represent the school positively to ensure parental satisfaction.
6. Use problem-solving skills to address student challenges.
7. Inspect pool areas for maintenance, cleanliness, or damage issues and report as needed.
8. Maintain and store pool equipment properly.
9. Report accidents/incidents and complete related paperwork.
10. Perform additional duties such as deck teaching, cleaning, and attending training sessions.

Certifications:

Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications are required. Paid training is provided for uncertified applicants.

Work Environment:

Work involves exposure to heat, humidity, and moderate noise levels.

Applicants must be at least 15 years old.
