Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.

• Be attentive, reliable and a proven problem solver.
• Obtain YMCA Swim Lesson Certification within nine months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety procedures are in place for the class.
• Maintain class control and discipline at all times.
• Develop lesson plans for each class and session.
• Keep progress records, attendance and evaluations up to date.
• Teach group and private swim lessons.
